The 3 hour Take Charge workshop brings awareness to practical exercises delivered in a manner that people working in the Blue-Collar industries will relate to. It is designed to provide them with strategies and tools that they can implement in an independent manner to enable them to achieve the best version of themselves, both at work and at home.

    AN INTRODUCTION TO THE STANDARD MHFA COURSE 

    The 12-hour Standard Mental Health First Aid course is for any interested adult.  

    You will learn how to assist an adult who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves, using a practical, evidence-based action plan. 

    This course is based on guidelines developed through the expert consensus of people with lived experience of mental health problems and professionals. 

    After completing a standard Mental Health First Aid course, participants are eligible to complete an online assessment to become an Accredited Mental Health First Aider. Accreditation lasts for a period of 3 years.
